It's Winter here in Colorado. It snowed last night! The nights are crisp. You can smell the smoke from fireplaces in the air. It's that time of the year where you snuggle up in your house and stay warm. It's also the time to spend on your favorite quilting and cross-stich projects. Winter is one of my favorite seasons, with the Christmas holidays to make gifts for! It's a time to get going on all of the quilting and sewing projects I put off for the holiday season -- time to get going on them and quit procrastinating! I try my best to help you out with your quilting and cross-stitch needs through my original quilting and cross-stitch patterns. I also strive to give you the information on these crafts your are looking for. I know many of you lead a very busy and hectic lifesyles. I know you don't have the time to design your own projects. All you'll have to do is to relax and sew! Your projects will have that home-fresh look and your friends and family will think that you are so, so original! Happy New Years 2008! Hopefully everyone's working on your quilting and sewing projects for the up and coming year! Now is the time to start those new projects for the coming gift giving seasonz. Now is the time to sew any of the banners or other projects I have to offer, they only take 1 day to finish! After all, it's the dead of winter. The weather is cold. It's a great time to sit in the warm house and work on your sewing projects. Go out and buy some materials! You're going to pick up the kids at school anyway. Why not swing by the fabric store? Or take advantage of the online fabric stores to your left. Quilting fabrics are the backbone of your project. Just Click on their banners! They deliver quickly! Take a few minutes to see what I have to offer for you in my store. These items make perfect gifts for your friends and relatives. And your family and friends will appreciate them for years to come. I have to admit, I've neglected updating my web site lately. It's been an extremely busy last couple of years for me. My husband and I have been busy building up our Mount Lamborn Vineyard outside of Hotchkiss, Colorado. This and our full-time occupations have been taking up most of our time. The spirits have brought me to this area, not only to grow grapes, but because there is a kindred spirit within the quilting community that I need to experience. The Hotchkiss area is full of fanatic quilters. We hope to start a winery within the next year to compliment our new vineyard and as a showroom for my quilting and cross-stitch products.
